Academic Scholarship Application

 

The purpose of this academic scholarship is to provide financial aid to graduating high school seniors pursuing
higher education degrees, diplomas, or certificates at accredited universities or colleges. The funds are to be used
for any educational expense. Award money will be paid directly to the applicant selected by the committee using
unbiased grading criteria. The three separate 2026 scholarship packages will include the following:

 

o $500 Financial Assistance and Informational Bulletin (Gold)
o $300 Financial Assistance and Informational Bulletin (Silver)
o $200 Financial Assistance and Informational Bulletin (Bronze)

Scholarship FAQ’s

Recipients will be announced May 2026

❖ The winner(s) will receive an official foundation check made out directly
to them. A general release of funds must be signed at the exchange.
❖ The winner will be contacted via phone and email to arrange scheduling
of presentation. The winner will be presented with a jumbo check for a
photo and video with our foundation’s founder, Antonio Lane.
❖ All winners will provide a senior headshot of their choice when contacted.
❖ Photos will be used for promotional/awareness purposes on official
foundation websites, social media platforms, and community outreach
partnerships.
❖ All 2026 scholarship recipients will be invited to our annual fundraising
gala located in Atlanta, GA with 1 guest of their choice all with free
admission. This does not include expenses related to travel. Please let us
know your interest on award day.
❖ If any scholarship winner would like to have a separate presentation of
their award presented at their local school’s honors day or award
graduation, please provide these details once contacted by a staff
member.
❖ All winners must be enrolled in a high school located in Georgia only.
❖ We award scholarships based on need or merit. We have implemented
oversight procedures to ensure that the scholarship funds are used for
their intended purposes. We have adopted measures to ensure we make
an unbiased selection in the event relatives of members of the selection
committee, or of officers, directors, or substantial contributors, apply for
our scholarship.
❖ Please ensure to monitor your emails for updates. If the committee is unable to make contact with recipient by May 31, 2026, awards will be forfeited. We will contact the next recipient in the selection process.
